ACCOMMODATION & CARE

A home from home in a great rural setting, The Rubens Care Home comprises of 26 single rooms with cosy atmosphere and attractive décor. The home is surrounded by beautiful landscapes for residents to enjoy the views. There is plenty of onsite parking for visiting family members and friends.

The home offers a caring and homely environment. Our mission is to provide an active, healthy, safe and satisfying atmosphere. We are here to meet all your loved one's needs.

We understand how much pressure and strain choosing a home can put on families and our staff are here to support you and your loved ones through this decision-making process. Our team have a wealth of experience and are here to ensure the process of moving into our home is as stress-free as possible, so you quickly feel settled and at home in your new surroundings.

FACILITIES & SERVICES

Mental stimulation - Our home offers a range of different types of activities to ensure mental stimulation and there are suitable options to all our residents. We personalise the activities to meet the individuals' interests and abilities.

Internal activities such as pianist, quizzes, sing-a-longs and crafts encourage our residents to increase their social interaction, mental stimulation and most importantly, their enjoyment and happiness.

Our external activities take place periodically and include trips out, for example, West Midlands Safari Park. Such days out and play integral parts of an active social life, which our residents should continue to enjoy in their life.

Staying active - We encourage exercise which is carried out to improve balance, mobility and strength, tailoring and adapting the exercise programme to suit each resident.

Families and friends - It is essential to understand our residents' needs and we always welcome them to join in any events within the home. All our love and support go into delivering an excellent standard of care.

Reminiscence prompts - Found throughout our premise and also used in dedicated activities, to reminisce over particular happy time periods or pastimes.

Food and Dining - Eating well assists with a person's healthy diet and their general wellbeing. Our tasty home-cooked meals, home-baked cakes and pies are made with love and care for all our residents. Special dietary requirements are catered for where required.

Small comforts matter - We aim to make our residents happy by adding a little more of a feel-good factor wherever possible. An on-site Hairdresser, Dentist, Chiropodist and Religious services are accessible within our care homes when needed.
